Meet Dr. E

Both peers and patients consider Dr. Ebrahimian a true dental expert and dental implant artist. Specializing in every aspect of dentistry, he can find ways to restore your smile and self-confidence no matter what. Dr. E’s experience in advanced laser dentistry and oral conscious sedation ensures he’s just as capable of maintaining patient comfort as of addressing their most serious dental concerns.

Dental Implants: The Best Solution for Missing Teeth

A titanium dental implant is permanently fixed into the jawbone. One or more prosthetic crowns are placed on top and look, feel, and function just like natural teeth. Traditional dentures can make it difficult to chew or speak, but not dental implants. These don’t slip or need to be removed for cleaning. Implants also last longer, support your overall oral health, and protect surrounding teeth and bone tissue.

Dental implants are an ideal solution for a qualified candidate. Most people who are healthy enough for a tooth extraction qualify for the procedure. If you have missing, decaying, or broken teeth and are looking for a nearly pain-free, long-lasting solution, dental implants may be right for you. Far superior to bridges or dentures, they’re also comfortable, so you won’t know the difference from your natural teeth.

Our Dental Implant Services

We offer a complete set of dental implant services under one roof. Here is a look at our treatment process:

  • Dental Implant Consultation and Examination: Dr. E will perform an examination and review your medical history. Based on your oral health, he’ll determine the best treatment options and discuss the specifics of each one, its costs, and your financing options. A timeline will be provided as well.
  • Often on the same day, you’ll also receive a 3D CT scan, which allows us to produce a 3D digitalization of your face and jaw. Digital impressions are completed as well. The data from these scans are input into our in-house milling equipment that lets us quickly produce high-quality, natural-looking restorations.
  • Personalized Treatment Plans: We tailor every treatment plan to the patient’s needs. Whether you need a single dental implant, are missing several teeth in a row, have lost teeth in different parts of your mouth, or need a full arch of implants, Implants 4 Life will find the right treatment for you. We can also provide implant-supported dentures and same-day crowns. Sedation options range from local anesthesia to nitrous oxide to IV sedation and general anesthesia.
  • Cutting-Edge Dental Technology and Techniques: We use the latest technology to speed up the treatment and healing process. Options such as All-on-4 implants let us replace complete upper or lower arches with fewer posts. Implants are made of biocompatible titanium, which quickly fuses with bone, and Zirconia crowns made of a high-quality, durable ceramic. Each restoration is produced, adjusted, and shaded in our in-house lab for quick and effective results.

In addition, we offer free second opinions and concierge services in which the cost of travel to and from surgery can be covered. Financing options include medical and dental insurance or plans that spread your payments out over time. We also accept cash or credit cards.

The Dental Implant Procedure

We schedule your surgery date once we complete your initial consultation and examination and create your treatment plan. If necessary, tooth extractions, gum treatments, or bone grafts will be performed before you receive dental implants. Next:

  • You’ll select a sedation option and the titanium post is inserted into the bone.
  • Once the bone heals, an abutment is placed atop the implant.
  • The gum is allowed to heal and then the replacement crown is fit.

The treatment and recovery time varies from one patient to another. But even from the start, you’ll receive a solution, whether a temporary crown or denture, that leaves you with a natural-looking smile. After dental implant surgery, you’ll need to rest for a couple of days and apply ice every 15 minutes to reduce swelling. Pain medication may be suggested or prescribed. While you’re healing, it’s important to eat soft foods, preferably chopped, ground, mashed, or pureed, for about 3 months.

What Do Dental Implants Cost?

While costs depend on the individual treatment plan, a single implant can cost $3,000 to $6,000. Replacing every tooth with an implant can cost up to $90,000. However, treatment options such as All-on-4 dental implants can help you save. The total cost of treatment includes sedation, extractions, removal of infected bone or gum tissue, implant placement, and temporary and permanent restorations.

Are There Risks of Receiving Dental Implants?

The risk of infection is minimal. We advise following all postoperative instructions and taking pain medication and antibiotics as directed. Dr. E takes every precaution to reduce the risk of loose implants, infections, bleeding, and allergic reactions. He’s also careful to avoid nerve damage and sinus cavity penetration.

How Long Does the Entire Process Take?

The treatment process requires up to 3 days in our office, but you’ll go home after each appointment. After surgery, which is a 1- to 2-hour procedure, the implant and jawbone will be allowed to fuse. Healing time varies with each patient. After tooth extractions, you may have to wait up to 3 months to receive a dental implant; patients with healthy enough gums and bone can receive an implant right away.
